Who Magurabike is
A practical education platform built for people who learn by doing, not by watching slides. We cover personal growth basics — the kind that actually transfer to daily life.

Our story
Magurabike started because most personal development content is either too abstract to act on or too prescriptive to stick with. We wanted something in between — structured enough to follow, loose enough to adapt.
Every workshop on this platform is built around a specific skill gap, not a broad theme. Participants work through real scenarios, get feedback on their decisions, and leave with something they can use the next day.
The team behind magurabike has backgrounds in adult education, instructional design, and applied psychology. That combination shapes how every course is structured: theory is kept minimal, practice is kept central.
How it works
Step-by-step, not chapter-by-chapter
Each workshop is divided into short, actionable assignments. You complete one before unlocking the next — which sounds obvious but is surprisingly rare in online education.
The sequence matters. Skills compound when they're practised in the right order, and we spend a lot of time getting that order right.
People behind the platform
Small team, deliberately. Fewer people means more accountability for what gets built and how well it works.
Fionnuala Drennan
Spent a decade in adult education before deciding that most curricula were designed for the teacher's convenience, not the learner's retention. She's fixing that, one workshop at a time.
Ciarán Ó Murchú
Builds and maintains the tools participants use daily. His rule: if an interaction requires a tutorial to understand, it gets redesigned. Usually twice.
Sorcha Ní Bhriain
Reviews every workshop for behavioural coherence — meaning the exercises actually match how people change habits in practice, not just in theory. She's the reason we cut a lot of content that felt good but didn't do much.
